I love trees. Maybe because they symbolize life.
Here’s just a sneak peek from Leena’s maternity session. More to come!

First I saw the sun…

Then I turned around, and saw the awesome double rainbow. It’s the first time I’d seen a full rainbow in the city.

I’ve been doing a lot of shooting and editing lately, more to share soon!
Little Alexis was just 3 months old when I took her photos. As much as I think newborn photos are cute, I find it much more relaxed for the parents to have photos taken when their little one is a little bit older.
Enjoy these photos! and check out the myriad of cute expressions this little one has!
Congrats Agnes & Clement! You have an adorable little girl!

I met with Sopida, John and little Janice (my namesake!) 2 weeks ago for some family photos in Bluffer’s Park, and let me tell you, my camera got a good work out that day. Isn’t Janice just a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e?! With a capital A I might add. She had the cutest expressions, and showed such personality at just 17 months old. I left our session with a big smile on my face, and felt inspired, as I often do, by the pure joy that children have from the smallest things.
Enjoy these photos!

This photo kills me! haha…

CUTE!

Icecream time! Janice loves chocolate too, a girl after my own heart :)

For years, I’ve heard of this place called the Cheltenham Badlands and wondered what it was all about. Finally I drove out to Caledon with M one sunny day and paid a visit. Turns out, the Badlands aren’t “bad” at all, it’s just a geological term for an area of soft rock without vegetation and soil cover and moulded into rolling hills and gullies. I guess if you are a farmer, this is not good news. But if you are looking for an interesting location as a backdrop for photos, whether it’s your engagement or your wedding portraits, the Badlands can be good. Alright, I will stop with the cheesy puns. :) In all seriousness, if you are looking for an alternative to parks and fields, the unique rolling red hills (albeit small) can be an excellent choice.
See some photos below, decide for yourself! :)

Baby Graham was 3 weeks old when I met him. Still a tiny little thing, so precious. He slept soundly for most of the session, except for when he got a bit chilly, or when big sister Daisy gave him kisses :D
My favourites of this beautiful family are below, enjoy!
Also, I think I might want a beagle now. Just a little. :)

“Mom’s not in the room, so I’m going on the bed!”

tiny toes!

Daisy has lots of love for her little brother, but I wonder if baby Graham maybe doesn’t feel the same way…yet? ;)

Thank you Heather & Mark! You have a wonderful little boy. Cherish every moment, they grow up fast!
