“Memories to last a lifetime! Janice photographed our wedding in October 2011 and the entire experience was just how we imagined it. She took the time to listen to the type of shots we wanted on the day and executed with talent and precision. We were particularly in interested in natural (as opposed to posed) shots and she did a beautiful job capturing the moment. Thanks!”

Toronto Wedding Photography | Brent & Hayden

What can I say about Brent & Hayden? They got married a month ago on a gorgeous day, surrounded by dear friends and family who flew in from all around the world. They planned a unique event that was reflective of who they are as a couple, personalized it and focused on what the essence of the wedding is to them: two people in love getting married, and a great party!

Thanks guys for including me in your special day, I truly had a great time. Enjoy these photos!

A jazz band (Shawn Rompre) played for the festivities. Personally I enjoy a live band much more at weddings :)
Delicious hors d’oeuvres from The Food Dudes.

Instead of a videographer, the talented Amalia from Talen Events sourced this super fun video kiosk for the night.

Toronto Portrait Photography | Ali & Mike

Meet Ali & Mike. Ali is a graphic designer; she loves Mike, and she loves photographs. Mike is a teacher, and he loves Ali. And so a month ago we met up for what I call a love shoot. :)Ali loved the idea of for once not having photos of them that were “self portraits”. I know exactly what she means! Here are some that I captured for them. Enjoy!

I asked them to think of one word that they think best describes the other. They did, and then added their own touches. Cute!
Being goofy! :)

“Loved it! I booked a 2 hour photography session for my boyfriend and I with Janice just before Thanksgiving. The photos blew me away! I can honestly say that there isn’t one photo I don’t like. Janice was extremely accommodating with regards to meetings and choosing photo locations. I had so much fun with the entire process and cannot wait to work with her again. Thanks Janice!”

Toronto Family Photography | Sneak Peek: Dash

I met Justin, Ming and their adorable son Dash for a portrait session in High Park on Sunday. Even though I don’t live in Toronto now, I’ve really grown to love High Park. It just has so many amazing spots, and it’s pretty in any season.Little Dash turned 2 today! He is just so sweet. He was squealing with delight at everything throughout our session, with the kind of pure joy that only children have.

Here is a sneak peek from Sunday. Thank you Justin and Ming!

Check out the matching hats :)
